Anomaly/Defect Management

In 2009, we collaborated with the North Sea integrity management community to address challenges in managing multiple repair registers, particularly those reliant on outdated and inefficient methods using spreadsheets. 

We applied our software engineering knowledge and created the first standardised defect/anomaly management system. This investigation was the catalyst for the creation of the Defect module, and subsequently, ONE itself.

The Defect module features our industry-standard anomaly creation wizard, ensuring that all necessary information is captured from the outset.

Each anomaly recorded can include supporting documents, images, and video clips. Users can directly add recommendations, assessments, and comments to each record, with all changes tracked in a detailed history log.

​​The detailed history log enhances transparency, helping users manage anomalies safely and efficiently, while also simplifying HSE and compliance audits. Various remediation and mitigation tasks can be added to each anomaly, ensuring that all necessary work is detailed according to the assessment outcomes.

A comprehensive suite of live and historical anomaly reports, developed based on client feedback, visually represents status, parameters, and monthly trends. This feature reduces the time needed to compile key management information from days to just a single click.
